| I was working on this project for New York City, whose focus was paper-training your dog. In dialogue with friend Vance Jonson, we agreed to put it on newsprint with lots of blank pages for the paper training to begin. It won every award in the business. Decades later, for a book on Adobe PageMaker, we redid one spread, seen below. The first version, above, was done as a pasteup. The newer version below, with PageMaker. (Of course Adobe InDesign is now our tool of choice.) I flatter myself that this job influenced Herb Lubalin. | |
